How will we eat?
This is the question on the lips of millions in India and Sri Lanka during this time of forced lockdown due to COVID-19. Although it is difficult for us in Australia, for many in India and Sri Lanka it is a very different, difficult and tragic story.
The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a massive impact in India. Rated as the second highest country for infections globally, millions of people have suffered during recent months. Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission (PRMM) felt a responsibility not only to keep the large Mukti community safe but to also respond to the challenges which confronted them right on their own doorstep. PRMM continues to offer relief to many in the local community and nearby villages who are desperately feeling the effects of food shortages and medical supplies.
COVID-19, SRI LANKA

Through the generosity of Australian donors, not only have the families linked to Wings of Hope been provided with basic necessities, but many other families living in dire conditions as well.
