Manorama Memorial High School begins construction on the third floor to add more classrooms

We are thrilled to share that the development project to construct an additional floor and large multi-purpose hall at MMHS (Manorama Memorial High School in India) is well underway. This transformative education project has been made possible by the generous contributions and support of our dedicated donors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every individual and organisation that has donated towards this cause.

What does this development project achieve?

This new multi-purpose hall is one of the visionary solutions to provide opportunities to break cycle of gender disparity, social and economic disadvantage.  It addresses the challenges posed by the increasing demand for education and the difficulties faced for access to quality higher education. Designed with flexibility in mind, this facility will allow for versatile usage and convenient partitioning, ensuring that multiple classes can be conducted simultaneously within a single space.

The multi-purpose hall will also allow wider access to the limited number of e-learning boards which will facilitate the teaching and learning experience by providing interactive and immersive digital content. The sharing of e-learning boards among different classes will enable teachers to access a wide range of resources and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the specific needs of their students.

What is the significance of this development project?

The significance of this project cannot be overstated. The current lack of classroom space has been a persistent challenge, compromising the quality of education provided to students. With the completion of the multi-purpose hall, we will have the capacity to accommodate the increased demand for admissions across various classes. No longer will deserving students face the unfortunate prospect of being denied access to education due to limited space.

We are immensely grateful for the support received thus far, and continue to invest in education development projects that will empower disadvantaged children.
